Flying High Thanks to Frank

Local Trafford drama group Altrincham Creative Theatre School recently received an important visitor. Mr Frank Tolley MBE is a well known local resident who has done much for charity through his talks about his wartime experiences flying in Lancaster bombers during World War Two. Many people will be unaware that Frank has also been very strong supporters of ACTS since it first begin back in 2010. This year he decided to give a donation to the group which will go towards staging its two main productions. Frank attended a rehearsal of ‘Volunteers of Eve’ the play that ACT II, will perform this year and was very impressed with what he saw. Afterwards he presented the cheque to Head Tutor, Valerie Harris and said “I am very impressed with all the work the tutors do with these young people. They clearly enjoy what they do and their enthusiasm and hard work is wonderful to see. I wish them well in their future production and look forward to seeing it”. Frank has not only seen all the plays that the school has performed but also helps front of house as well.
