Thank you to everyone who came to Val’s funeral, for your thoughts, cards and kind words which have been a great comfort. She is greatly missed each and every day but her legacy remains and ACTS will go on as she so wished and wanted it to.
ACTS has recommenced although it is difficult not having my loving partner, Val sitting next to me. Although she is very much with us in spirit. She will always be a very important part of ACTS as it is thanks to her devotion and hard work that we are where we are.
Although I am lucky in having Dorika supporting now that I have lost Val we need another tutor to help keep us running. Ideally they will have some theatre experience but otherwise the most important thing is a desire to help young people flourish. It is a position that is not paid which I know will put most possible interested parties off. However, the rewards are huge in other ways.
